Appreciate this group.

In July I was diagnosed as T2 with an a1c of 11.9. I immediately hit up reddit and all the diabetes subreddits and joined a few. Lurking around, I took in the wisdom, experience and advice of the people who post.

I was put on metformin 1000mg 2x a day as well as jardiance 25mg once a day. I have completely overhauled my diet and my lifestyle as a 48m. I dedicated myself to getting healthier and I will admit there are times where it seems difficult and hopeless. But last week, I had my follow up visit and my a1c was 6.7. This gave me a huge boost of confidence and showed me that my dedication and changes were worth it. I just have to go that little extra to bring it down further and I feel like it is something very attainable for me.

I am very appreciative of this as well as the other subreddits and all the encouragement everyone displays..
