qn about commandos vocation

hello, i’m just curious about commandos formation. here are my thoughts:

i wanna go cos:

• ⁠cdo training can be very tough but at the end u become a stronger person physically and mentally which will be very useful in life as u alr go through so much shit in cdo

• ⁠tell ppl i’m from commandos and get a lot of respect HAHAHA

but i’m also not sure as:

• my dad says it’s not worth the two years of suffering unless i plan on signing on(and he also tells me not to sign on and waste my life in the army, but i heard the pay damn good)

• ⁠cdo often can’t book out on weekends so i won’t have much personal time for myself

• ⁠a lot of ppl get lifelong injuries in cdo

any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!
