Shoulder sling setup for a Gimbal

Hi,

I use a Gimbal with ASPC camera. I tend to do a things that require one handed use or quickly needing to drop the whole thing... action sports. I was curious if people here have experimented with DIY strap / sling setups to assist one handed use or being able to let go and not have a disaster.
