pls tell me this will get better

so im new and im on season 2, and all i can say is i hate cheating plots. im in the part where rory starts hiding things from dean, so yeah please tell me things will get better. i really hate cheating plots but i enjoy watching gilmore girls... i mean it will be outweighed by all wonderful things that will happen in the succeeding seasons right??
