I love FromSoft games with all my heart, i have been playing since ds2 on ps3 days and played all of them except for Sekiro and Nightreign..I absolutely love Elden Ring don´t get me wrong, but specifically the dlc felt disappointing. I´m not going get into detail about the flaws in the boss designs because i think everyone is familiar with those, but for the first time in a FromSoft game it was a bit of a hollow experience, I´m all for the "git gud" mentality, I learned that playing Souls games and carry it into my personal life so for me the problem was not all the bs bosses (looking at you Consort Radahn). The problem was it all felt on purpose because of all the new features, the game felt like it was forcing me to play a certain way, invalidating my playstyle therefore compromising what made these games fun to play in the first place, as a Souls player it felt my skills were just thrown away for the sake of spectacle, like I was fighting lines of code, not a character, just an image that´s gonna carry through with it´s combo even if there´s nothing to hit, the gameplay felt disconnected, like the bosses are playing a different game, like I had to predict the moves, not react to them, making the dlc experience simply not fun which is the point of playing in the first place..the final fight of the dlc feel like dirty dishes in the sink, something I just gotta go though..

99 vigor and 20 scadutree blessing btw

even pulled out the rune arcs i forgot about the entire game haha

I´m disappointed, sad even..
