Physical(or digital) copy and Owning permanently the Novel/Webtoon bought

I had read a lot of media from pirate sites during my school period, now that I started working I have found my self trying to support the artist through the available means, so paying for subscriptions, buying whatever credit the platform uses etc.

But there are a lot of things I don't like about this.

Often, even after spending money, once a novel or comic is completed, you up having to repurchase it just to read it again. Platforms can remove lock or remove content, change what they offers in their plans whenever they want.

I just want to spend my money, appreciating the effort behind creating the content, knowing I truly own what I bought. I want the freedom to read it whenever I want or lend it to a friend without worrying about my account being banned.

so please, can you all suggest site or platform where I can get physical/digital(preferably) copies and/or access forever my content?

EXTRA POINT: if the site isn't scummy towards the User and the Artist.

Thanks you All!
