Not doing it for scratch: the verification threshold

The installation procedure is a breeze once you have a 'live-stick', and downloading an ISO is a breeze. So is turning it into a live-stick, following a tutorial... but has the ISO you're using been VERIFIED??!! and that's the stinker. Compared to the following steps, the ISO verification is a pain in the neck. Fortunately I found a local guy who will set you up with a USB with the distro you want for a modest price. of €14,95 for a proper install-usb. I bit the bullit. The guy's legit. No regrets.

But seriously folks, isn't this an unwelcoming barrier that linux distributors need to look into?
