Need help: advice or suggestions for the ideal smartphone under 6k to give as a gift.

Title sums it up pero here's a bit of background:

Nag-p-plano ako regaluhan tong loved one ko ng bagong phone. Medyo naaawa na ako dahil nag-ti-tiis siya sa phone na medyo may defect na yung LCD and naka-tape na. Can't afford niya rin palitan as of now dahil nag-f-focus muna siya sa mas important na expenses. Basta sa kanya, gagamitin niya talaga hanggang sagad na sagad na. Admirable pero I do think na deserve nya na talaga ng bago.

Hindi siya heavy user pero I wouldn't say na siya rin yung typical na casual user: Ang games niya lang is yung mga basic match-3 or yung mga games sa ads na basic lang graphics at gameplay. May Messenger dahil nandon lahat ng kilala nya. Inactive sa FB at IG. Nanonood naman ng TikTok now and then. Ang majority ng screentime niya is nasa Pinterest or YouTube.

Original na balak ko sana is yung Samsung Galaxy A06 5G, mostly dahil sa 5G niya. Naka 5G SIM kasi kaya feel ko na baka advantage yun in the long run? That and yung security rin with Samsung phones.

Sobrang limited na ng knowledge ko in regards sa budget Android phones ever since napa-iOS ako. Last na Android ko was the POCO M3 and had very negative experiences with it, kaya medyo apprehensive ako kumuha ng anything Xiaomi-related. Wala na rin akong idea sa mga Transsion phones. Nagulat nga ako sa fall from grace ng Oppo at Realme. Akala ko nga same parent company parin yung Oppo at Vivo pero bumukod na rin pala sila.
