Prof is being weird about me writing my exam after missing it due to illness

I sent my prof a email about 1 1/2 weeks ago before my unit exam with a docs note about how I have been sick and had a sinus infection, my prof said no worries and now that I’m starting to feel better I followed up about writing the exam, she replied with the fact that we wrote the unit exam nearly 2 weeks ago and she was expecting me back last week. I don’t know why she expected any date for me to be back when I told her I was feeling under the weather and I have no way of knowing when I would feel better. She didn’t outright say no to not writing the exam but she’s not making it clear that I can, and is making it sound like I can’t. What should I do? I’m planning on going back to class tomorrow but I have some serious anxiety when it comes to this and want to get this figured out over emails before I see her in class.
