Obtaining a Bid Bond/

Hi. So we normally do 1-1.5 million dollar site work projects with no bid bond required. Highest bond we have pulled is a million. We are in descope for a 4.2 million dollar site work package, that may require a bond. I am getting nervous as I feel we may not be able to obtain one even though we can perform the work. Has anyone gone through this and is there any options that I have ? TIA
