From BYND disaster to GME panic: what should I do?

🐵 Discussion 💬

Hey everyone, last week I lost a huge amount of money with BYND (around 14/15k€). I went in with all my savings at $2.90 and sold at $1.95. Buy high, sell low, right? 🚀🚀💀

On Monday, as soon as I saw Trümp’s post, I thought I’d try to make back some of the losses. So I jumped into GME right at the top of the day, around $25.40. I’m still holding… and obviously, sitting on another loss.

Yeah, I know, I’m an idiot.

For now, I think I should probably move to something more stable, like an All World ETF or the S&P 500. But I wanted to ask for your advice.

Do you think it’s realistic that in a few weeks (maybe one or two months) GME could go back up to at least my entry price? Or should I just sell everything now, take the loss, and start fresh with ETFs like I mentioned earlier?

I know GME is a really solid company, so in a way I’m not too afraid of losing a huge amount of money like I did with BYND. Still, I don’t think it’s a great life strategy to keep all my savings in it, especially since I’m already quite a bit in the red with GME too (I know, it’s my fault, I’m a stupid ape). Any advice?
