Dark yellow spots on two fingers on one hand

28M pretty healthy besides the occasional Hookah smoker. Noticed last week two fingers on my left hand that were a distinctive different yellow color than the rest of my hands. I’d wash and scrub and it seemed a little better, but then a day later would come back. I don’t mess with dyes or any type of stains. The ONLY thing I can think of is my new work environment which i sit on a desk that used to have tobacco leaves on it. But I don’t put my hands in the desk that much. I’m really not sure what this could be. Kidney failure, or just a stupid dye/oil that somehow got on 2 of my fingers and won’t go away? Or something completely different?
