Roland KT-10: two pedals, one feels way less smooth than the other with the same spring tension

Hi all,

i recently bought a roland tD27KV2 (yay!) but due to noise issues i decided to get 2 Roland KT10's as bassdrum pedals. There is a significant difference between the smoothness of the two, with the same spring tension and beaterweight (the 2 weights that you can put in the "beater") settings. when i do the wobble test (push the beater down then release) the smooth one wobbles almost twice as long as the other one.. one feels like 50% less smooth. I cannot find anything i can adjust to make it feel as the other pedal does.

Does anyone have any suggestion? what am i missing here? Thanks in advance for your help, it is greatly apreciated!
