NY C&F guidance, is there a consultant I can hire?
I have anxiety and I need someone to walk me through NY C&F steps.
Is there a consultant I can hire? I don't think I need to hire a lawyer for this one, as I don't need legal representation. (It is a bit out of my price range right now to hire a lawyer right now)
I don't know how to answer question 35. I was admitted to psych ward in 2020, about two years before I started school. I had some form of psychosis and since the hospital I have been on medication and I've never had another episode.
NY only asks about court ordered hospital, but I went on my own without any law officer intervention. However, question 35 is confusing
"Except as otherwise disclosed in this application, within the past seven years, have you exhibited or engaged in any conduct or behavior, including conduct or behavior resulting from a condition or impairment, that could call into question your ability to practice law in a competent, ethical, and professional manner?"
Does this mean that I have to disclose?
I went to school out of state and the bar support office doesn't know anything about how NY works.
