Will Lumix and Leica ever make a rangefinder camera?

*Just a quick rant/opinion post for discussion. Recently though, I have been thinking (or rather dreaming) about what a Panasonic Leica camera would look like. Currently along with my GX85 I shoot on a GRIII and have been quietly considering looking into an X100 model. This got me thinking about a competitor to that line to fit the fixed lens niche, using Leica’s rangefinder heritage with the recent advancements in M43 technology. I imagine it being in a middle ground between the GR and X100 line. I think I may be thinking too naively and realistically the market for a camera like this probably doesn’t make any financial sense but it could be cool. Even foregoing the rangefinder for more accessibility or creating a whole new line to provide an entry point for modern rangefinder mirrorless cameras, competing with the M and X-pro lines. I digress, took fix this super specific itch I plan on purchasing the PL 15mm 1.7 to pair with my GX85 and later a Pen-F. Maybe a Leica collab or reviving the GX line in the future?
