Acceptance rate goes down when owners don't respond
So, I guess this post is kind of a peeve and a rant and I'm wondering what others think. I looked at my Insights today and my acceptance percentage is only 75%, even though I've accepted 100% of the requests when the dog owner responds and agrees to a Meet & Greet.
According to the stats, if I have to archive because the owner ghosts me or says, "sorry, it was a mistake" that counts against me. I want to say that's not fair, even though I know nothing in life is fair.
This must impact other sitters, because my 75% acceptance rate is higher than 89% of sitters in my area.
I just wish my acceptance rate only went down when the dog or the owner wasn't a good fit, which hasn't happened yet.
In the back of my mind, I do wonder if the acceptance rate impacts my profile showing up in search results?
