Beast mode players for the rest of the year

Learnt a lot about how HUT works (first timer) and built a semi decent team, but can’t get past silver 3 or do much damage in champs with my current roster. Didn’t manage to acquire any Icon players which seem to matter a lot.

But because this season is almost over and the chems will likely change, and (I assume) MSPs will gradually have higher overalls next season, is it worth stripping down my team to build as many beast mode MSPs and tokens as possible?

As others have pointed out, the refundable nature of the tokens makes beast mode players very versatile.

I’m somewhat tempted to turn all of my roster players below 84 (like CMG zadorov, Pageau marquee) into token fodder, which would hurt in the short term (by ruining strong AP/OVR chems), but help in the long term by giving me multiple buildable MSPs, some of which would probably be super useful next season.

Thoughts?
