If I wasn't sold on Clocktaur War, how high are the chances of me liking her other books?

I read the Clocktaur series a few years back and thought they were pretty mediocre albeit somewhat enjoyable. Recently I keep seeing her other books being recommended. Is there a chance I will enjoy them or would it be better to stay clear? How do her other books compare to the Clocktaur series?

I think my main issue with the series was how overly simplistic everything felt. I'm used to more fleshed-out fantasy series.
