JVL's Triad Oct 28

Everyone who wonders what makes JVL tick needs to read this Triad today. This gives you a kind of long-ish story about his oldest son and their interactions and what is important to them. It's not explicit; it's what you pick up through inference. It's basically reading and garnering an understanding of character.

I've been debating just posting it wholesale here, but it's behind the paywall, so it's not right (imo) to post it. Ugh. Maybe someone braver than me will put it in a response here.
