Dermot Desmond is a fucking amateur. You would have thought that all of this experience in the business world and football world would have taught him how to handle a disagreement with a former employee. But no, he's putting out statements that boil down to he-said, she-said nonsense.

As for Rodgers, well I think he is leaving the job with the moral high ground. Can you even imagine how ridiculous his meetings were with the Board? The best thing he can do now is to say nothing in response to Dermot Desmond: no "reveals everything" interviews with the Daily Record, and refuse to answer questions about this when he eventually lands another management role.

Longer term, I worry that this shows us the true extent of the rot within our board of directors. It should have been impossible for an individual shareholder to release such a statement through our official website.
