SU30MK2 Power Creep

I’d like to get people’s general thoughts on the incoming SU30MK2. It seems like a slightly worse SU27SM… at one BR level lower. Compared to other 13.3s, it seems too strong but not oppressively so. Like, it’s clearly more of a 13.7 in terms of the overall package, but 13.3 jets can already hold their own against 13.7 so it’s not so bad.

What I’m worried about is what this means for 13.0, and especially for 12.7 and 12.3. 12.7 in particular is in the horrible position of facing unlimited uptiers against what is effectively a 13.7 jet, and, being a premium for a major nation, this will probably be extremely common.

It does bother me that Gaijin raked in huge cash selling Hornets for the past few updates, then releases another premium jet that will feast on Hornets for breakfast. I understand this has always happened but this time it seems way too fast.

What is your opinion? Do you have any remorse in your heart for all the premium Hornets and for the few poor souls still flying MiG-29s? It seems to me this jets is just the final nail in the coffin for the entire BR range of 12.3-13.3, although I’d be interested in hearing other perspectives.
