Are grades and honors that important to our working life?

As per the topic, we are currently studying in the second year of the Faculty of Science. We try to improve our grades to get honors (to make our family proud), but recently we didn't score well on a test, even though we tried very hard. In reading, we still didn't score OK as we had hoped, but the people around us all scored OK. So it makes us discouraged and think that we won't get the honors. But I tried to get as many grades as possible because I still had deep hope. that we might be able to do it After all this, just over two years are left. We are about to finish and we want to know about work life or even the process of finding a job. Are grades and honors very important? From my experience I'm working here and can answer.
