15 week old still only contact napping during the day

Advice

Hi guys, I need some advice or shared stories

My baby is 15 weeks old, I think we may be going through a regression? Not sure. She wakes up once to feed, but has brief wake ups almost every hour where I give her pacifier and put my hand on her to help her fall back asleep. Since the beginning I kind of gave up on trying to have her nap in the crib or bassinet. I tried but it always just ended up being a frustrating experience for both of us. I’d put her down, get excited that I’m about to have some time for myself and she’d wake up 20-30 mins later. And then I’d have to repeat the process, which takes forever and then it’s time for her to eat again or change the diaper or something else like she’s not sleepy anymore. So I stopped trying. The past 2 months pretty much all the naps during the day have been contact naps. Either me holding her, on in the carrier. It’s easier for my mental health and she gets good sleep it seems. She doesn’t sleep in the stroller so I’m not sure if that’s the collateral to contact napping all the time. I know at 4 months they start associating things a lot more, how bad is our current situation? She sleeps in her crib at night. Am I building bad habits? Did you have babies like this? What did you do? Did they grow out of it or did you actively work on it?

I know it’s not sustainable long term? She’s already 17lbs I can’t be baby wearing her forever
