Can we take a moment to talk about how hell is not that bad?

This might have been posted or discussed before. But if you think about it, now that the exterminations appear to be over, 100% of the problems in hell are caused by the sinners themselves. The call is coming from inside the house.

There is no eternal hellfire. No demonic torturers, and no ironic punishments room. If a sinner were in hell completely alone, it would not be that different from being inside an office building. Maybe not intrinsically good. But not much to complain about either.

The upper crust of hell even lives in luxury.

Of course there are miserable people there. But that is because of what other sinners are doing to them.

What I draw from this is that redemption is the wrong goal. Instead of trying to get sinners into heaven, the goal should be rehabilitation focused, and aimed at improving hell itself.

Unless the series ends with Charlie in charge of purgatory, I just don’t see any other solution.
