Alright let’s get into it, it’s without question that Cyrenes buffs are stronger for Phainon than Sundays. To say they aren’t would simply just not speak to the truth of the matter.

Cyrene offers Phainon
16% Crit Rate
72% Crit DMG (36% if you don’t have E6)
24% True DMG
20% DMG increase
and an infinite Khaslana state. While some people would argue that, it’s not truly infinite. Khaslana burns himself for 15% of his current HP in this state, and heals himself for 20% of his max HP. Within a proper optimized team this will last indefinitely. Furthermore if your Phainon was e6 you’d just activate your ult AGAIN. After being taken out, as she gives you 6 coreflames for free.

To say these buffs don’t blow Sunday out of the water would be disingenuous, this also completely eradicates the necessity for a sustain as you will be in the Khaslana state indefinitely (or just enter it). And the moment Phainon stops being able to clear in 2 ults, she will always be his undeniable best in slot. At e2

The absolute eradication unleashed by DOUBLE true damage nuke that is Cyrene, RMC and Phainon E6. Being doubled by Cerydra, will just brute force the game into oblivion.

But let’s address the elephant in the room, not everyone wants to go to e2. That’s fine, she’s actually pretty solid at e0 for him if you’re willing to give up your RMC to his team.

Closing point, Cyrene is pretty damn phenomenal
