Can I pay in a personal cheque for £80,000 into my Barclays bank account??

In approx 6-weeks time I am due to be getting a cheque, (from my mum), for just under £80,000.

But will I able to simply just pay this into my Barclays bank-account, like any other regular cheque?

Or is there is a limit on the maximum-value of cheque I can pay-in?
