do you have to finish the main story to understand the new event + chapter 11?
hi! i'm a returning player and i'd just come back a few weeks ago when nautika just dropped. i'm wondering if you need to go through the entire prior main story to understand and enjoy chapter 11 and its event(s)?
since then, i've been speedrunning the main story since i'd gotten MAJOR burnout from before i stopped playing. back then, i think i stopped at the end of chapter 5.
as of writing this, i'm at chapter 8-6, and i'm worried i won't be able to make it to the end of the event's duration, and that's not even considering the HEAPS of picrasma i'd need to accomplish such a feat🧑🦯 i'm ashamed to admit i haven't played the main events since isolde's event (mostly due to burnout) and i even skipped out on nautika's event for this very reason 🥹
but i'm really interested in sentinel's backstory from the trailer—and i'm worried i'll ruin my own experience (or worse, spoil myself) if i play ahead and turns out i'd needed the knowledge from all 10 proor chapters. is it a requirement to go through all? maybe i'm just overthinking it, but i'm worried😖
