[Landlord US-CT] What are landlords doing now for updating style?

Landlord

We own eight rental units in Connecticut outside of NYC. Two of them have been lived in for 13 to 15 years and need some updating especially in kitchens and baths. Additionally all walls need to be painted.

What flooring material do you use in your units in kitchen and baths?

What do you do regarding kitchen cabinets and countertops?

Now that the grey era in paint is over, and warmer neutrals are in style, what color are you painting rooms? All rooms the same color or variety of colors?

Any other recommendations? Just curious what other landlords are doing now.
