I got Minecraft HEX 3 files

Hi. I won't tell you my name, but let's get straight to the point:

As many Minecraft veterans know, there was a version called MINECRAFT HEX released back in the day,

which caused quite a stir in the community, mostly internationally,

since that's where it originated. HEX 2 and 3 followed shortly after.

HEX 2 is boring and in the HEX 1 there's no world, and all the videos where people plays in the world is fake because in the files there's only a slideshow of world, that makes fake lags.

I've always been interested in digging through files, so I decided to check out what HEX 3 was hiding.

First, I downloaded this "cursed" version of Minecraft, not on real hardware, but on a VMware Workstation virtual machine running

Windows 10. Then I installed a program that allows you to monitor the file being launched, clicked the "Monitor the program" button,

played for a couple of minutes, exited, and then saved all the actions performed by the game to a file.

The log itself is in the folder with all the files.

I also decided to check the run.exe file with Virus Total, AND I WAS FUCKING SHOCKED!!!

You can also find a screenshot from Virus Total, they seem to say it's not a virus,

then WHY THE HELL DID Avast, Alibaba, Microsoft, Google, AND OTHERS WORK?

Regarding the game files, the world was created in the regular minecraft folder /AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/saves

But the game files themselves, along with the jar file,

are in the /AppData/Local/Temp/ folder, and folders and files,including the jar file, are created here.

So, result is that now you can play without damaging your computer.

I haven't tested the jar file itself, though, as I don't know how to decompile Java yet, if you want to do it you're welcome That's it.
