Should I follow up or take silence as rejection?
For context, I’m employed. I like my job, and I was approached by a consulting company for a role. I mention this because I wouldn’t be too upset if I don’t get accepted but I would still like to know the outcome.
I went through 4 rounds of interview plus a psychometric test, I had my first interview on the 11th of September and 4th round interview on the 8th of October so it’s also been a very long process.
After completing the psychometric test I was sent to go do finger prints (2 weeks ago) thereafter I haven’t received any further communication - now before you assume. I went and did finger prints a few weeks prior to this for another company and I received an offer so I know it’s not because of any criminal or credit checks that I would be getting ignored.
Knowing this, is it worth following up or should I just accept that the company likely found another candidate?
