Which total war would you recommend?

I’ve been a fan of the game for years, but I’ve never had a pc that was capable of running it. This might change soon and I’m planning on getting the game. I like Rome 2, but I’ve heard that Attila is nice too. Is there one you would recommend, or is Rome 2 the safe choice for a beginner?
