4 Months In - Over $12K of Debt Paid Off

This is a new account so it's not tied to my personal info. I got laid off back in February and was super stressed. My bills stacked up. I already had debt that had accumulated over the years. Fast forward to over 100 AI-tailored resumes & cover letters, 20 ish interviews, I got three remote job offers within a week of each other. I took the two highest paid, one in a more stable market than the other and started them two weeks apart (do not recommend lol). TC between two jobs is $195K. Post taxes, 401K, health, etc, I'm making about $12K a month.

I'm now four months in, have caught up on all my bills, and have paid off over $12K of debt. We had some animal emergencies in there and was able to drop $3K at the emergency vet without stressing out too much. I will have over half of my debt paid of by the EOY and will be able to build up to $20K in savings by next summer.

It was very stressful at the beginning, but I rarely have any overlapping meetings. I'm good about blocking out my calendar. One of the hardest things I've had to overcome is the overachiever mindset and accepting doing the work that is required of me/just meeting the minimum.

Anyway, just wanted to hop in here and say thank you for all the great advice. My life has changed for the better. I've been a lurker for over a year and really appreciate all the insight, advice, and encouragement (even if you didn't know who you were providing it to)! Really appreciate you all and your positive attitudes. <3
