Ink cost beyond initial purchase: Canon imageprograph 310 vs 1100?
Looking to print fine art photography (for sale and gifting) and considering Canon imageprograph 310 and 1100. I've looked up the differences and either one would suit my needs. The 310 is significantly cheaper initially, but of course that doesn't always mean cheaper down the line. Does anyone have any resources or info that could help me understand which one is cheaper cost per print, ink cost, etc down the line. I started out thinking of a Canon Megatank g620 so cost per print was important at first (and still is), but I'm struggling to compromise on ink quality as far as all the fading issues with dye vs pigment I've researched (though I did see some contradictory info regarding canon dyes and maybe they last longer?). In any case, I know the G620 is a totally different thing from the other two, mentioning to say that I do still care about minimizing per print cost, so that's what I'm trying to assess with the imageprograph models now, if anyone has already done this homework, would love to hear your thoughts
