What if the earth is deliberately meant to "humble" us for the afterlife?

I mean, if in the afterlife we can have anything we want, and all basically "all powerful" compared to earth standards, what if earth is somehow also meant to teach us what it feels like to have limits, to feel powerless, and to humble us, so that we aren't acting like spoiled bratty douchebags on the other side? Similar to how rich spoiled nepotism babies can be out of control and complete assholes in this life, what if this experience here is somehow meant to force us to mature a bit mentally, and learn empathy and understanding and such?

We are forced here to interact constantly with people different than us, and people that we hate as well, forced to learn to be civil and polite, act mature... get along...

If we were in the afterlife just living a perfect life basically constantly, I can imagine some of us would turn absolutely insufferable or mad with power almost, or act very immature and undeveloped.

Thinking about it all this way, learning suffering here and boring things and having limits, it would turn the afterlife into a complete paradise, AND we would be more mature or disciplined I imagine when arriving back there... like a spoiled rich nepotism kid having gone away to school to learn discipline and more..

I really wonder, if our stay here on earth will have made a difference, when we are back on the other side again.
