Muggle-borns are obscenely more powerful than canon, but also far rarer. Likewise, the more "muggle blood" you have, the more powerful the individual. How would this affect the Wizarding World, especially if it were a more recent phenomenon (from c. 1940s)?

Discussion

Blood supremacy would surely take a hit, though bigotry has never been rational. That said, what if the average muggle-born were obscenely powerful? As in; no need for a wand to cast even powerful magic, magical resistance (if not outright immunity in fringe cases), far more powerful spells, etc.

But, they would also be much rare; in this AU, the fact that Hermione and Colin are attending Hogwarts at the same timeframe is practically miraculous. Lily Evans would have been the only previous muggle-born student.

Additionally, what if having more "muggle blood" made more powerful magical individuals? Harry, whose mother was muggle-born, would be far more powerful than pure-bloods and (most) half-bloods, but not muggle-borns.

How would this affect the Wizarding World, especially if it were a more recent phenomenon? Would Voldemort still rise to power, but with different tactics?
