Hello fellow curious people!

Hey all!

I thought it would be rude not to give an introduction for any future members, so here it is.

My names Mat, and I'm currently a Zoology student with a particular interest in all things bird and marine like (quite the contrast)! I want Ask Zoology to be a place for curious people to ask whatever it is that's pondering them about the animal and natural world, and a place where open discussions can be had surrounding zoology and all other relevant fields and subfields.

This is my first subreddit I've made, so this will be a learning process for me, so bare with! if this community starts to gain some traction, I'll consider expanding the mod team (just me!) and getting active feedback, adding weekly polls, Q&As, pinning scientific articles, stuff like that!

For now, for anyone stumbling across this subreddit, consider posting a question and I'll get back with an answer, and as this community grows, other people will too!

That's it for now!
