Should Democrats give in to end the shutdown?

As i understand it the reason the shutdown is going on for so long is because Democrats want to extend healthcare subsidies for those who rely on the ACA

If they give in to the Republicans, on average, enrollees receiving subsidies could see their out-of-pocket premium payments more than double: going from about $888/year in 2025 to about $1,904/year in 2026, which would be an increase of ~114%.

Should Democrats give into Republicans and let this happen? Or should Republicans extend the subsidies and give the Democrats what they want?
