Has anyone talked Frontier into increasing speed without sending a new router?

Frontier keeps advertising 2Gb or higher, but they want to send me more F'ing hardware. My ONT can do 5 already, is there some magical word to get them to just turn up the speed?

I don't want their Eero so if I go back down I don't have to be returning things.
