Why would a guy change his mind after rejecting you ?

A guy (M22) rejected me in a hallway when people inside the classroom could hear it. He looked super uninterested and almost like he wanted to run away. I was offended but took the L and started to move on. That person spoke on my behalf once when i needed the verses and was overstepping boundaries so i asked my evangelist to tell him not to talk to me, and most of ALL not to speak on my behalf. He seemed to not have realized his behaviour before being clled out on it. I don’t mind chivalry with a guy u trust and in a rl with, but itf it’s a random guy i’m like « f*ck off », it goes for opening doors, and just random acts of service. I don’t want it.

It was a year ago. But this person started showing interest all of a sudden when i came back in the academy.
