Wheel size/tire ratio. Having a hard time figuring this out.

2022 Gt-line with 20" Continental Ecocontact tires, which came with the car. Winter is coming, which is very wet here, and cold, but little to no snow. I'm wanting to put better tires on the ca for the season, , and considering dropping wheel size to 19 or 18, buying tires with higher aspect ratio to match the overall diameter of the original tire.

Is this an ok plan? I know larger ratio can affect responsiveness (sluggish), and comfort (better). Anything else I should think about?
