Is 22 to late to take professional soccer seriously as a player

I saw someone go pro at 28; so it’s possible!

But im not really in the game like that

Im fighting a weed addiction like many Players im sure had a issue With in their past

I have to put down all smoking in order to succeed in football And I’ve realised that

I want to get so good and amass a good fortune

I used to make music and still do sometimes a lot, I figured you get paid 250k for 40m streams and I thought thats something I could do

But back on topic I just feel it’s a bit too late but I know it’s not

My coach said I’ll be playing catch up And load of other random nice people on the internet had said chase your dreams And don’t focus on not getting there As that will only hold up the dream

Im 22 now and when I was 15 I played for the Crystal Palace academy and was captain ( I didn’t go pro cause I stopped attending I didn’t see the potential of being able to be signed and play as a career)

I don’t want to die with my music still in my ears you know

I mainly want to get away from the music cause the people i tend to associate with in the industry are normally drug addicts, Which in learning to manueuver
