Have you ever come out to your parents? If yes, what was their first real reaction, not the polite one?

I’m in my late teens and I haven’t come out yet but I know I will, at some point. I don’t want to live under a pretense or spend my whole life pretending to be someone I’m not, just to make everyone else comfortable. I want to find the woman of my dreams, marry her and build a life together. I know it won’t be easy, but honestly, I’d rather live a hard truth than a comfortable lie.
