Am I being too sensitive?
Am I being too sensitive or something is truly wrong?
I needed a change and decided to be an au pair in France, I chose the family that we had nice chats and the benefits. I always talked to the dad, the mom never was on our calls even though I asked, she was once for 5 minutes and didn’t said a word. I made it SUPER clear that I did not speak french at all and want to learn that’s why I was coming, he assured me that everyone in the house speaks English. For some reason I felt something about him is off but cannot put my finger on why. I arrived last week, he went to pick me up from the train station, it was at night and I didn’t see anyone till next day, no one, I meant not even his wife, apart from him, speaks English. I cannot understand the kids and the kids cannot understand me. I was promised a car because they live in the countryside but he said he will buy one soon, without a car, I cannot even go to a train station because the city does not have one, does not even have buses. He is 40 but dresses like a teenager, he has a very important job but always wears anime/videogames t-shirts, wear a vans, hoodies. Few weeks ago, I got sick really bad, before arriving, got sent to the hospital, took millions of medication and that messed up with my floral, I am treating it and believe me, I am a really really clean person. I shower 3 times a day, wash my hair every day, I brush my teeth 3 times a day, I reapply deodorant to make sure I am not smelling, that being said, he told me today that my infection smells was bothering him and his wife and that I need to see a doctor and happens with big persons. I do not wear same clothes, I change even my bra everyday and this guy made this comment. But what got me, he offered himself to examine me but just if I feel comfortable. I said I don’t and I am already treating the infection.
Am I being to sensitive to ask the agency for a rematch?
