I got this in the mail from Japan 2 weeks ago. I don't believe there are many of these in the US so I'll write this up if you want to get one from Japan! I have been waiting for this figure for 20 years. CM's figure may have fully transformed/combined, but you could not play with it and it was small.

Gensesic Galeon: Insane articulation and very nice paint/color application. There is no messed-up paint anywhere. He's made of very durable ABS and features insane articulation.

Genesic GaiGar: Same articulation and glorious paint. The head can only do 180 degrees of articulation, but all other joints can go in both directions. There are a good number of 3.5mm pegs and ports all over his body, meaning you can attach tons of transformers and zoids weapons or parts to him. That's so rad!

Straight/Spiral Gao: These are hollow, so they seem a bit more fragile. Same cool paint job. The front legs fold back, and the caterpillar threads fold in. The drills can be removed to put them on other figures or put other weapons on them. Gaigar attaches to a port on the inside of the red back, which you fold open.

Protect/Block Gao: These really don't do much and have no articulation. They are a bit less flimsy than the legs, with the rear being a solid block you use to smack these Gao machines together inside GaiGar. You can press the fins down to pop out the arms.

Gadget Gao: This bad girl is huge and is very complicated on the underside. The wings fold out and tilt up and down. She's very detailed and contoured. One thing to note is that the underside is fairly fragile, and I highly recommend silicone shock grease for most of the pivots/arbors. You will hear a lot of squeaking and feel very tough ratchets. Be careful with her.

Genesic Gao Gai Gar: The main event! This guy is a freaking brick. You can really play with him and shouldn't be afraid to put him on your shelf, as falling isn't likely to hurt him as much as a lot of other figures. Hands have 3 movable fingers and a solid thumb. The head can only pivot 90 degrees, and (because of the build) lots of the limbs lack the articulation that the GaiGar had. Check out the back, as it's so cool looking with those eyes! I used Tamiya gray panel lining for the cheeks and teeth, with Tamiya X-35 to cover everything, as these are bare plastic parts and not painted so they lack pop.

Overall, I love this thing. If you are a fan of GaoGaiGar, this is thee figure to get alongside your GX38 and GX69 Soul of Chogokin GaoGaiGar/Goldeon.
