Need finalising in a debate on “playable” bosses lol

Right so, me and my fiance have gotten into a heated discussion about the playability of these two bosses.

my standpoint is that there are two playable bosses in Wuthering waves, as mentioned, these are Hecate and fleurdalys. I’m not an idiot as he’s tried to claim and OBVIOUSLY they are not the direct characters you wish for on the banner however they are subsequently bosses that you can ”play” as, my reasoning for this is that they have their own distinct controls for their specific roles, fleurdalys kinda just had an extra fancy/epic version of cartethias lol and phrolova using Hecate you have 3-4 moves total to use (a basic three hit attack and the heavy attack)

now my fiancé has said “it’s just I don’t want to accept the truth“ and in fact “they are not playable bosses“ as “when you go to make a wish you don’t see Hecate or fleurdalys there do you?”

I can’t handle this shit because where the eff uuu Dee Kay did I say any of that. Anyways, I REALLY need y’all’s help with finalising this, I’m happy to be wrong, but to me, if you can physically move and fight as that character, they are a playable boss, UNDERSTANDING THE FACT YOU ARE NOT WISHING FOR THEM DIRECTLY, lawd 🙄
