Does anyone else feel like there's a "Team Trevorrow" vs. "Team Koepp" rift going on regarding the creative direction of the Jurassic franchise?
I've noticed that since the release of 'Jurassic World Rebirth' there now seems to be a rift between the fandom on which way the franchise should move going forward. Fans of Rebirth seem to be open to seeing where the film takes the franchise next, while detractors seem to feel that the film unceremoniously retcons where Colin Trevorrow had taken the franchise with the previous World Trilogy. This rift seems to be seen not only within the fan community, but with the creatives behind the franchise as well. It seems like Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg are all on board with what Koepp did with Rebirth and are behind this "new era" for the franchise, while the teams behind Chaos Theory and Jurassic World Evolution 3 seem to be more supportive of continuing the narrative themes and vision of what Trevorrow had done with the World Trilogy. Does anyone else notice this creative rift, or is it just me?
