Can’t get rear triangular aluminum skid plate back on!! (2001 986 Base)

Hello everyone! I recently worked on replacing the rear axles, tuning forks (trailing arms), and the coolant tank on my new to me 986.

But the aluminum triangular plate under the transmission is giving me a hard time getting back on while I’m putting everything back together. I got 6 of the 8 holes on that plate to line up with the studs/bolts sticking out from the chassis (where you screw the nuts), but the 2 holes on the front of the plate where you screw the bolts aren’t lining up. They are just off by maybe 2 mm, and I think it might be because the new trailing arms I installed.

I read that a couple of people used ratchet straps to pull the subframe members move towards each other to line up the left and right holes, but my issue isn’t the left and right side, which I successfully got lined up, it’s just the front holes that aren’t lining up.

Is there anything I can do about it? Or try with ratchet straps at a different location if someone has any experience with this.

Would appreciate all help! Thanks!
