Those who didn't suffer during menupause

Motivation

I am 25. My mother who is 47 is perhaps going through menupause. She, one day, had a lot of restlessness and we checked her BP and one time it reached 210/190. Anyhow, she has been experiencing constant menstruation for almost the whole month and in turn, of course, no energy.

Now, as a teenager, due to a dysfunctional home, we didn't do breakfasts, cooked only once that too chicken (which in my country is known for causing hormonal issues in women), no fruits, no milk, cold drinks. In my 20s, I ate even less as I shifted to hostels and stuff. Currently, I am almost always drinking coffee. Don't drink cold drinks. But I suck at eating healthy/big portions. I get painful periods now. My knees started to ache pretty bad too

I am getting really scared of menupause given I never had healthy diet/activity in my life. I work 59 hrs a week and I am sitting constantly.

Please tell me it's not as bad as it seems. I will try to cut down on coffee, and incorporate stuff thaty body truly needs. Please tell me there are women who never had any issues.
