Where to start my Aspect / Ynnari army ? (1000 points)

Hey everyone!
I take part in my city’s tournament every year (1000 points), and I’ve just signed up for the Spring 2026 edition… playing Aeldari! The problem is: I’m starting from scratch and don’t know the army at all.
I’ve skimmed through the codex for a while, but honestly I have no idea what to include—or even what to buy! I’m a Custodes player, so my gameplay usually goes like this: put big character with big squad, move squad forward, win without stratagems or combos because datasheet are broken, pray to the Emperor.

I’m not a meta slave, but I’d still like to build a somewhat solid army since it’s a semi-competitive event.
The detachments that interest me are Aspect and Ynnari.

For Aspect, I’d like to play roughly 25% vehicles, 25% characters, and 50% infantry. I’m really tempted by Fire Dragons and Fuegan, Dark Reapers and Maugan Ra. The Avatar of Khaine looks amazing, but I’m not sure if I want to dump a third of my army’s total points into a single model… though, Rule of Cool, baby. I know Warp Spiders are solid in Aspect armies, but I find their models and datasheets boooooring —though you’re welcome to try to convince me!

Speaking of the Rule of Cool, Ynnari are my second potential choice. Yvraine and her Foot Slave are, in my opinion, two of the most beautiful miniatures GW has ever made. I know they’re apparently really bad and kind of shunned by Games Workshop, but I still find them appealing. No clue what I’d actually put in that army though.

Any advice? Opinions? I’ll take anything! :)
