Wouldn't standardization of a single Language mean we are essentially killing other dialects of a language?

Today, me and my friends were were discussing how young Rajasthani's don't speak their own Language (Marwadi in our case) how our Language is getting marginalized. But then the question arises even if we get Rajasthani Language in 8th schedule, which one will it be?

Marwadi, Bagri, Dhundhari, Mewati, Malvi, Dhatki, Hadoti

Each of these languages have a few seperate dialects. For example, Marwadi have two distinct Thali and Bikaneti dialects.

Standardization of one would lead to marginalization of other Rajasthani languages and dialects.

And this whole discussion left me feeling helpless, because our languages are gonna die a slow death either way.
